dang JP......that was a tough answer. I had no idea what you were talking about until I searched on the innernet and found that "Alphabet Boy" was a song on an Album named "Crybaby". Good shot. You are way above my head as far as modern music is concerned. OK.....back to the game.

I knew it was a wah pedal but beyond Jimi Hendrix I drew a blank. Acapella For some reason I can still remember Michael and the Jackson Fve singing "I'll Be There" Acapella.

Cabarrus County Jail DOES have some good corn bread on Friday nights. Keep that in mind if you are ever down here in my neck of the woods.

Song
I had a friend in highschool whose father was the sheriff. We would hang around the jail occasionally and I remember the fat back, cathead buscuits and gravy.

The Dillards
I looked this up and found that they had a bunch of past members that I never knew was with them. I was surprised by some of them.....Billy Ray Latham, Herb Pedersen, and Byron Berline. I reckon I spent too much time watching them and Briscoe on TV to keep up with the real band.
Other members of the band have included Dewey Martin (drums), John T Humphreys [Drums], Herb Pedersen (banjo, guitar), Billy Ray Latham (banjo, guitar, electric guitar), Ray Park (fiddle), Paul York (drums), Jeff Gilkinson (bass, cello, harmonica, banjo), Douglas Bounsall (electric guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle), Byron Berline (fiddle), Irv Dugan (bass), Bill Bryson (bass), Glen D. Hardin (keyboards), Seth Papas (drums), Buddy Blackmon (banjo), Rick McEwen (bass), Ric Williams (drums), Joe Villegas (bass), Eddie Ponder (drums), Pete Grant (banjo, steel guitar), Steve Cooley (banjo, guitar, upright bass), Wilbur Pace (banjo, fiddle, Richard Godfrey (drums), Shane Lail (guitar), Jim Glaspy (banjo, guitar) and Billy Constable (guitar).
