Hey TJ.........you've been bringing out some "old-uns" and I've enjoyed 'em a bunch. I found this one on the internet yesterday. My bunch used to play this song a lot. The crowd always seemed to like it...plus it was a blast to play and sing.
You remember this young-un from the late 80s? I always thought the boy was going to be a big star. He didn't do much with selling recordings but the rascal wrote a sack full of good songs. Check this out.

Carl Smith -
I first met Carl in the mid 50's. He was married to June Carter and had just released his hit "Hey Joe".
Carl was drinking pretty heavily at the time and we were playing a gig at Big Jeff's (Husband of the "Tootsie" of the Orchid Lounge Fame").
