Interesting interview - Even though it is from 1992 it is about the much earlier Fender history. Bill Carson

Very informative! And had it's droll moments. Now can anyone tell me where Link Wray fit in with early Fender guitars and amps?

Very informative! And had it's droll moments. Now can anyone tell me where Link Wray fit in with early Fender guitars and amps? The only mention I've read was that Link played a Fender Stratocaster and Super Reverb late in his career. This comment was from a guy that went to a Link show then. Link's earlier guitar days included Supro, Airline and Danelectro, a brief use of a Les Paul, and a Firebird.

I was curious since he was an early mover and shaker of heavy distorted guitar.
