Vince Gill, Albert Lee, Keb Mo, and more outstanding players on guitars, and keys, as well as a fiddler and outstanding side men.

I have some Dregs albums Fangster I have known about them since they original bunch was still in the band. That band could play amazingly. One of the very best super technical country jazz bands ever. When I heard the Dregs album Industry Standard, I was floored at the brilliance of the arrangements, the brilliance of the players all, and the whole production excellence. Those guys were master musicians back then, and I have been a huge admired of Steve Morse because of his skill and his solo playing arrangements. Just masterful.

I only have "What If" ('78) and "Night Of the Living Dregs"('79) on both vinyl and CD reissue. First heard them on Judy Adams' "Morphogenesis" program on the local NPR station here. Now, I know this ain't "pickin' ", but this was her opening theme music since '72... Easy to hear why I became a fan of the show! Whitefang
