And since I have a bit of time,I'll tell about the significance of "A Musicological Journey Through The 12 Days of Christmas"---
While driving to a store one day in a December( 2014 if memory serves) I had my car radio tuned to the Classical station and just caught the intro to this piece, and by the time I got to the store, it was the fourth day and I caught what the whole thing was about. Each "day" of Christmas sang and played in a different style of music, and in chronological progression of the changing eras of music. The first day(notice) sung as a Gregorian chant, 2nd day as Medieval folk song, 3rd as Baroque, and on and on. The announcer mentioned it was the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, so when I got home, I "googled" the tune, found out it was a track on the choir's "This Is Christmas" LP, then I went to Amazon to see if a CD was available, And was informed it was out of print.
Well, I set it aside in my mind and by the summer of '15, my wife and I were at a local thrift shop and I, as usual, started to rifle through the small bin of old CDs they had, not looking for anything in particular. THEN it HIT ME! There in front of me was the jewel case for the CD of The Mormon Tabernacle's "This Is Christmas" CD! I quickly opened it( as many cases in the bin are often empty or have the wrong CD inside) and THERE IT WAS! The correct CD! I carried it up to the cashier and paid my 80 cents for it. EIGHTY CENTS! And just a few months ago I was willing to shell out $15 or more through Amazon!
In a few months it was the best Christmas in a long time!
And here's another old favorite-----
And this tickles me too!
