So that's old news here. And today we saw NO EGGS and all the usual milk wiped out. One talking head says 4 to 6 weeks it "should run its course". Then the leader of the free world declares an emergency and the usual noodle heads lose their rabbitass minds. May be an interesting spring/summer. Or year.

Well, I had no problem finding what I needed at Meijer's last night. Bread, some cereals and turkey sausages. But, there did for some reason, seem to be a "run" on fat free ranch dressing! Go figure.... Whitefang

So we went back the other day and got some eggs and milk. I think a lot of the panic buying may be fading unless you go to a gun shop.
I have work here for a month or maybe longer. This crap is going to mess up our culture for a while.

Heh! Our "culture" has been messed up for years. But our way of life is certainly disrupted. And my sister in law's condition improved enough for her to be returned to a skilled nursing and rehab subacute care facility, but then too, they also are on a "no visitors" lockdown. Whitefang

For sure we have had challenges, what society doesn't! But the idea of no live music for 6 weeks or 6 months, a lot of restaurants and venues are going to sink and never rise again. In a few weeks if you turn on the tv it will be no live game shows or reality tv, all reruns and talking heads telling us how bad off we are.
We have no gigs at this point. I don't expect any until maybe the summer, or next year. My summer job is in question let alone where we can stay if not at that place where I'd be working. Many states are shutting down state parks. Pretty much everywhere there are bans on gatherings.
My part of the proactive approach is, every evening I am wiping down every surface typically touched by guests in a given day. Rest rooms, door surfaces, pool cues and balls and table rails, foosball tables, ping pong paddles and tables, exercise equipment, laundry equipment and surfaces, on and on. I use at least 4 pairs of nitrile gloves a shift and a quart or more of bleach solution. It's also trying to not go out and be around people unless it's to the store. We cook at home so no curb side pickups or food deliveries. We buy what we need for the next few days or week.
Before long we'll be posting videos we're going to be doing, on YouTube and other places. I've begun writing the first song about this fucking bug.

Good luck finding what you need for the next few days in most of the stores which people have been raiding stocking up for the next few MONTHS.Ya gotta wonder too..... With all the likely FOOD shortages that might take place, then what does everybody think they'll need all that toilet paper FOR? Whitefang

So last week we sold the D'Angelico and the old Kay Trutone. Needed to fund some stuff that was deemed more important. Jo still has her go to guitar, the Gibson J15 acoustic with internal pickup. Later we may find her another axe for slide work.
