Yes indeedee.....
Rock instrumentals ( and rock versions of other instrumental tunes) were at an apex in the early to mid '60's and in the late '50's too. Some great, some not so great, but we dug 'em anyway. For instance, in retrospect, kinda quaint now....
Remember guys like DUANE EDDY...DAVE "BABY" CORTEZ...JORGEN INGMANN... And even this one time Elvis sideman had an instrumental hit...
