Hello?

I have gotten in some hot water expressing the "other" view. What I've come to is that I can have my opinion but it's probably best to keep it close.

I wear the damn mask. It's a pain and a symbol of current difficulties but at the end of the day it may save lives. Mine included. Despite my opinion, I will follow protocol in the interest of the greater good.


Don't know if y'all noticed, I used the opening lines from one of my favorite songs. Know which one?

The opening line of some song has me stumped also.

However I wear the mask and practice social distancing, simply because my reason (thinking in engineering terms) tells me it is helpful. The mask can trap much of the moisture coming out of the mask (For the benefit of others), but also it has to have at large chance of diminishing whatever contaminates that come to the mask (for my and my families benefit). Simply speaking, my reasoning process thinks that is the case.

See, you led me(and possibly DBM)to think that it was the first line of your Aug.19 post(at the top of this page) that was the first line from your favorite song. Had you specified it was the THREAD TITLE that was the opening line, we might have guessed, or else guessed THIS

If you mentioned the THREAD TITLE was what was the first line from your favorite song, we might have guessed it. But then too, we might have guessed THIS -------
