The upshot is....
We didn't do much musically in that class, but it was a kind of springboard for getting us to understand there's more to music than we might have thought without the information. Not just rhythmic response or background sound to fill in the empty air.

The Grammys are truly off track about what talent is and who is a true success. But I must say this too- Musicares is an offshoot nonprofit that helps care for out of work musicians and those who have medical bills etc. These are the folks who covered a lot of Jo's cataract surgeries.
Also incidentally, we were totally blown over as the visits to doc and the actual surgeries progressed, Every time we moved it was another $1k or $2k. If it had not been for Musicares we'd have been in debt the rest of our lives and I would have been working at a chicken place.

Point is, hopefully I won't be trying to pay off insurmountable bills for the rest of my life. At the moment I have no idea what the hospital, ambulance, and all the details are going to hit us for. I have an itemized statement coming. There's a blues song right there!

Medicare. Just the no pay part. And I have no doubt there will be expense.
If we had opted for the part you pay for in Medicare we'd have bee=n staying home. She spoke up and said, let's go adventuring and worry with the future when it gets here.
And here we are. Rough morning for her. Prayers for her comfort and ease and my courage and acceptance please.
