Wow - what a difference a year makes. Last year at this time here in Ottawa it was 20C, thats 70F. Today it is snowing, again!!! Temperature is -15C, about 4F. And there is a massive winter storm making its way from westrn Canada that could bring more snow. AARRRGGGGGGHHH!! Now I am definitely sire I was switched at birth with someone else's child who resides in the tropics!!! One of these years gonna move south - WAAAAAYYY south - past Mexico!

Temps here today near 40. Hardly springlike. That strorm you're talking about sounds like the one I heard maybe hitting the northeast on Monday. Spring is coming!!!

Well if it is any consolation, it is the same here in England. We had snow last week and it took me 4 hours to get to work- normally 40 minutes!

Things not improving much here although no snow in the forecast. Looks like folks south of us may get a few inches. The temps are supposed to warm this week but still below normal for this time of year. However, there appears to be a bright spot for the upcoming weekend with temps to hit the 50's! It'll feel like a heatwave at that point.

We're just supposed to get snow showers this evening, and they haven't started yet. That doesn't mean we won't get six inches, too. I was a weatherman (not the protest group) for seven years and did an evening radio forcast. All I got to say, is pity the poor weathermen. If you get the forcast right, that's what you're supposed to do. If you get it wrong, they want to tar and feather you. At least tar and feathers would be warm.
