Frank Stokes had a great voice. I wonder why he never had the chance to record after the 20s-early 30s?

I believe Wikipedia has misspoke itself once again. Frank Stokes was in The Beale Street Sheiks (with Dan Sane) on Paramount and Victor Labels. The Mississippi Sheiks was the Bo Carter/Chatman group.
