I think I know where my Sunday will be spent. This site looks awesome Alan, lots and lots of great information.
I scanned a couple of the pages and while I'm not sure how well vetted the information is, it raised some questions I would love to pursue. Thanks again for posting the link.

Ah! I've been looking for this info. Houston's own Ezra Charles (Charles Helpinstill, who invented and now owns again the Helpinstill piano pickup www.helpinstill.com ) made this claim at a master class that he held. Of course, Ezra is big into the boogie boogie himself, and plays it all over the world.
