A friend advised me that when I get real serious about playing harmonica, I would be well advised to buy a Low Tuned Oskar harp. He recommends a Low F as a start, but also for real low-down blues, I would probably enjoy playing a Hohner D and E low tuned. Thoughts?

I have a low F, low D and low C. I had a LLF that I gave to a friend who needed one. Dennis Gruenling makes really good use of low harps. When he's playing those low and low low harps with Doug Demming and the Jewell Tones you would swear there's a sax in the band.
