Like I heard Deford Bailey say once when someone ask him why he played those train song instead of the n***a blues, he just grinned and said that there's blues in every song, justt some blues are a little different than other ones. Trains carried a lot of some good ole blues men up North and the blowing of that ole whistle is just a remminder of the ones left behind.
Szme goes with that old hound Sarge, I'm sure there were a few old blues men who can stil hear the hounds..
