Earl Hooker's album - Two Bugs and a Roach shows the great talent of Earl, both as a singer and as a great guitar player...not to mention commedian. [laughing]
And his pedal effects are mind blowing at times...

www.facebook.com/americanbluesscene/?fref=nfAmerican Blues Scene What artist do you think did not get enough recognition? On this day, 1929, Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Earl Hooker was born in Quitman County, Mississippi. The self taught guitarist began playing at age 10 and 3 years later was playing on Chicago street corners with childhood friend, Bo Diddley. Hooker was heavily influenced by T-Bone Walker in guitar style and showmanship. Hooker became known as a "musician's musician", influencing artists like Albert Collins, BB King, Buddy Guy, Little Milton, Junior Wells, Joe Louis Walker, Tinsley Ellis, Wilie Dixon and dozens more.
