When we speak of fingerstyle (Piedmont) blues, John Jackson must be recognized.

John was a friend and mentor to me for over twenty years. Besides being a phenominal guitarist, he was possibly the kindest most gentle man I've ever had the honor of calling my friend. I still miss him a great deal. Fairfax, Virginia Probably late 1980's

In early 1974 a fan by the name of Lois Ulrey switched on her tape recorder and, with minimal interruption from her, just let him talk. Some of this was published later that year in the magazine Blues-Link. It was fittingly entitled I Just Love Everybody.
