My guess, it was possibly an outline for someone's term-paper. Relatively accurate insofar as what it presented, but not the really in-depth kind of information or research I'd expect to see if it was done by say a knowlegeable ethnomusicologist for an authoritative piece of published work for example. More of what you might see from a reasonably well-informed, probably younger, listener/player type.

After doing a little digging I found that it's part of a class syllabus outline for an online music course, Music 110-02: American Popular Music.

Hey James, have you taken up the course finally? Last week, I bought a Harmonica and would love to undertake some course that will help me master my skills and try playing such musical forms. Please suggest me a few such courses too.
