Nashville is known for country music, and rightfully so. But it has also produced many great musicians in other genre. Here's a photo from the 50's that shows the cross-pollination of country (Floyd Cramer), Jazz (Hank Garland), Jimmy Sweeney, Floyd 'Lightnin' Chance on bass, and Boudleaux Bryant (songwriter) who were Sweeney's "Varieteers".

I love seeing those old photos. Is the other guitarist Harold Bradley? I know Harold and Hank played a lot of sessions together. There are some great photos in the old RCA Quonset Hut studio museum.
