https%3A//soundcloud.com/44pistol/parkess-shakedown-pistol-pete I was doing a gig with the very talented violin player Jamie Parkes, who I occasionally play with, on Friday and as I was mucking around looking for my capo he started to improvise this great little tune. My band's live album 'Live at the Vaults' is very nearly here! On 1st March we'll be holding the release party at the Market Vaults in Stafford, where it was recorded & then doing a tour of the Midlands to promote it. Our website 44pistol.co.uk has been updated with an all new look. A taster track is available to stream on Bandcamp and you can pre-order the album there too

About three months back I supported a singer-songwriter from Portland called Hip Hatchet, during the West-Midlands leg of his European tour, and he played this Hayes Carll song which I was rather enamoured with, so here's me performing it last weekend :-)

Hi all, owing to popular demand my new EP is now available to purchase from Amazon MP3 & iTunes, & can be streamed via Spotify. However if, you did feel inclined to buy it then go to my Bandcamp page & you will save some money plus 100% of the price will go to a very good cause - paying my mortgage.

I played at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival on Saturday & after my set they invited me to make a video. This is a song from my new album which is out on the 6th June.
