Hey there. New here and don't mean to be so foreward but,
I mentioned this band in another thread and thought I'd give an example. Formed in '65 by Steve Katz and Danny Kalb and later joined by Al Kooper (who's name I was familiar with, along with Paul Butterfield and Mike Bloomfield from a couple of BOB DYLAN LPs) both Kooper and Katz left in late '67 to form BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS.
Not strictly a blues band, they also ventured into psychedelia and hard rock too.
For the time, they weren't really that bad, but as you can hear, now they'd be considered anachronistic and quaint.
