I just got my Tascam Pocket Studio OP-004 in time. I'm snowed in, and will be for a couple of days, so it's an ideal time to try it out. Pocket studio is a good description. It's small enough to fir into my jacket pocket. I bought it because it reminds me of my beloved 4 track Fostex I used for so many years, exvept this one works with a sim card instead of a cassette. If you haven't checked out Hello Music, you should. This machine lists for $279 and I got it for $105. I bought a beautiful Epiphone electric, John Lennon copy for half price and love it. Hello Music is in Canada, and their discounts run anywhere from 40% to at least the 65% i got off this machine. I'll post again after I've used it.
This place is weird. I have had a lot of trouble posting a link to one of my songs, and now I get a link I don't even want (I just deleted it) to a connection that doesn't even exist. Love this place, though... don't get me wrong.

Here is the link for Hello Music's website: www.hellomusic.com/It's well worth setting it as one of your favorites. The deal is tha any more of t they sell anystuff with limited quantities, so it's best to get their daily e-mails. I don't know if they have the Tascam pocket studio. This is the link to amzon.com www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Yascam+pocket+studio+DP-0004. I see they have some for even a couple dollars less than I paid. I was excited to get it, because it looks very simple to use, and will be a great tool for rehearsals, and working out harmonies. You can record up to four tracks.

I have a Zoom H4n- it is truly an amazing bit of kit. You can use it as a field recorder and record stereo tracks but you can also use it as a 4 track and you can even bounce tracks around. Sound quality is superb too.
