I don't know how popular my discographies will prove to be here, but since the R&B threads seem to lack much traffic anyway and since I'm the moderator of these threads, I'll put some of them up and we'll see if there's any interest. If any of you are record collectors you might find some interesting stuff in here. As always, if anyone has any info to impart or questions to ask please do so.
The Impalas/The Jewels/The Brownettes 45 Discography
This is a FEMALE vocal group, NOT to be confused with any of the various MALE groups

The Impalas

The Impalas provided background vocals on the Bo Diddley Tracks "Bo Diddley Is A Lover","Not Guilty" and "Love Is A Secret" from his "Bo Diddley Is A Lover" album and "Doin' The Jaguar" From The LP "Bo Diddley's A Twister")
Chess lost interest in The Impalas when this record stiffed. songwriter/producer Bob E. Lee at The Start Label changed the Impalas name to The Four Jewels.
