Hal Blaine, drummer, who worked on, according to some estimates, 35,000 recordings and approximately 6000 Singles died at 90 years old on Monday. His drumming graced hits by The Mamas and the papas, The Grass Roots, The Ronettes, Frank Sinatra and many many others. Here's the NY Times Obit, if anyone's interested: www.nytimes.com/2019/03/12/obituaries/hal-blaine-dead.html

Very sad. I read his biography and it was really something. Think that he could have had even more interesting tales written on his recording adventures.
