I went to see a Rolling Stones Tribute band last night, called Mick Adams and The Stones and man were they great, The rocked me like no one has in a long long time. They played all the hits and did some interesting stuff, but mostly they were spot on playing it note for note like the original Stones did it.

Mick was a real good showman, acting like Jagger did mostly, plus he had lots of humorous banter back and forth with the audience. What a rhythm section that band has. I never did see the Rolling Stones Live, but this band made up for that, and only 20 bucks each to get in. Small room with only 250 guests. He saw me pull out my smart phone and stopped there on purpose and posed while he Sang Sympathy For The Devil to give me a shot at taking a picture up above, this picture was taken just as he turned to run up to the stage to finish the song. A good time was had by all.

DBM! ONLY 20 bucks? Well, figuring what it'd cost now to see the actual Stones, that's a bargain. Still, those prices came a long way since me paying $4.00 for a main floor seat for Hendrix back in '68. Anyway Mick, Some physical limitations keep me from going out to places you're likely to appear, but if y'alls ever in the Detroit area, I'll try to get to it. Whitefang

I wonder if that was really Mick Adams posting above, if not, that was amusing, if so, how the heck did he know I posted the review.

Yep, it was me. Anytime there is a mention of the band online, Google sends me an alert. Thanks again for the kind words. Playing a sold out show at Yuma Arts Center tonight then onto Wild Horse Pass Casino on Saturday but I will check you out as soon as we're off the road.

It's me. My manager has my google account set up so that I get a notification when the band is mentioned online. Thanks again. Still on the road but I'll try to check out your music when I get back to CA. Take care. Best, Mick www.mickadamsandthestones.com

Depends on what one considers a good "tribute" band. Some(like me) think not only capturing the SOUND, but also the LOOK of the band they're paying tribute. THESE guys do a pretty good job of it(Beatles-wise).

As far as appearance and performance these guys are really on top of it. The bass player even plays lefty.

I had communicated with The Caverners and the bass player(who also handles any keys when necessary) said he tried re-learning left handed, but couldn't get the hang. I understood. As a guitar player who is left-handed but plays "righty", I once, when both The Beatles busted out and later when Hendrix emerged, tried to re-learn "lefty" too, but without much luck. Whitefang
