Not going anywhere so far these days(y'all know why) so less chance of some stranger who thinks wearing their face mask on their chin is the way to go.  Some claim they read on FaceBook that wearing face masks one way or the other makes no difference, but we all know that FaceBook is the major factor of the dumbing down of America. Whitefang |

I think the dumbing down began a few decades ago. Facebook is a symptom.
This is a free country, BUT. I think freedom stops at someone else's health. I know I could be labeled a sheeple some places, but at the end of the day how hard is it to wear a mask? The right way? I may be at risk since I use bandannas as masks. I also spray them with alcohol every time out when I get back to the truck.
As far as I know I have not been near anyone who is sick with C19. I think it would show up by now if I had been.
In a month we will head for either Texas or Oklahoma if Texas where we want to go looks bad. I expect we will possibly have to self quarantine for 2 weeks if it's Texas but we keep mostly to ourselves anyway. If we can find gigs where social distancing is truly in effect we will play out.

Better to be a sheeple than be someone judging others as if they are better than you are. Wearing a mask is not being a sheeple it is wisdom. Usually if someone talks to me about politics or some other point. I usually tell them I am not interested in anyone else's opinion, I think that I am wise enough to make my own decisions without outside help.

That's why I don't claim myself as a member of any ideological political camp.(you know, neither "liberal" or "conservative") Seems those I know who do always speak in terms of what sounds like it's out of some kind of handbook. The same cliched crap coming out of their mouths word for word as if triggered by some kind of post hypnotic signal. Not an original or individual thought among them. Like you, I too, prefer to do my own thinking. Sure, might not always work the way I wish, but at least I have no strings attached. Whitefang |
