Never was one of my favorites. But can't deny his talent and impact. And you're right.
His name is usually just "dropped" in many blues discussions by too many who aren't familiar with his work.
His real name was Chester Arthur Burnett, and I've always wondered if he took his professional name from THIS-----

His presence and talent were twice what most mere mortals possessed. I'm proud to have covered some of his work over the years. Huge power there if you can tap into it.

I used to listen to the Wolf all the time, back when I had his LP's on vinyl.
