Oh what a fun day. Had new kitchen, TV table, and bathroom granite countertops installed, and new plumbing for bathroom and kitchen sink, & in the mean time my air conditioner broke down, and had to have a new blower motor (thankfully still guaranteed for parts for 2 more years) So from 7:00 Am till 3:30 PM I had a house full of craftsmen. $5,700+ out the door today. I also had the plumbers install a new reverse osmosis drinking water system (Which I already paid a few months back in order to have it when the countertops were installed).
On the positive side I sold one of my old EVM 12L's for a hundred bucks, now to order my new Cannabis Rex 12" 8 ohm speaker for the cabinet the 12L came out of. I got a hundred bucks for it and I have been using it off and on for well over 20 years. I sold it to a guy who came over a few years back and bought my 1-12 amp road case. I did keep another EVM 12 L that came with my first Mesa Boogie Mark II C+ in the early 80's. The one I kept sounded a bunch sweeter than the one I sold.

Planning redoing my kitchen and bath soon too. But as my central A/C is new I think it'll hold up while that all is being done. BTW----- As this is a "general message" board, there's really no need for the "OT". But I know: Old habits are hard to break. Whitefang

Okay. Bought a new commode for the travel trailer. It arrived yesterday. These are very light and simple to install, but I have to figure out what all I need to plumb the incoming water since the inlet is in a different place. Pex tubing which is what's in all these trigs these days. Not a big deal once I find who carries Pex in town.
Otherwise everything has been done.

I have cataract surgery coming up in a few weeks Left eye on the 24th August, and right eye 14th of September. If I chose long distance @ $595 per eye (optional for better lenses, at my expense) as well as a $283.xx for co pay for each eye. I will get a card which says I have corrective lenses in each eye so if I get stopped without glasses, I will have a pass on that one. I may not opt for the extra lenses. Then it is the copay x2 + 240 ($120 per eye). I talk to the surgeon Aug 17th.

Good! Glad you will get your sight back up to par. Jo has never regretted for a minute getting that done last fall.

For all I know I might need that procedure someday myself. So let us know what's up and keep us posted. Whitefang
