Albert & Charles with Gus Jenkins & his Orchestra : Albert Bedeaux, Charles Bedeaux (g) acc. by Gus Jenkins (p) unknown b and d
Weird / Leisha (Pioneer 1005)
Two much sought-after numbers from Gus Jenkins' label. As Gus said,he pressed only 50 copies of them. The featured artists on these songs are the twins Albert and Charles Bedeaux, who Gus heard while waiting for a traffic light. He was attracted by loud, weird music, parked his car, went upstairs and found four bums. Some weeks later he flew Albert and Charles in from Houston and made the recordings. So we have these weird heavily amplified bottleneck guitar sounds.Nothing has ever been heard of the twins since.

Perhaps a stretch on "underrecorded" Shakey Jake Harris did record five albums, but his style and talent should have demanded more IMHO. www.wirz.de/music/harsjfrm.htm
