I am with Herb with Larry Carlton on the Steely Dan track "Kid Charlemagne". It was one that I just loved the moment I heard it and years ago, as a bass player, I thought that anyone who could play like that was special. I have since learned to play it and I think I do a reasonable job. There are dozens of others ranging from the amazing to the subtle. Too many to list but one that springs to mind at the moment is Eric Clapton on the "24 Nights" album when he did "Bell Bottom Blues".
