This is a Fender Crafted in Japan that came with US Texas Special pickups. I bought it new in 2005 from Ishibashi a large dealer in Japan. It arrived in 3 days! I added CTS concentric pots and a 4-way switch last year.

This is another Fender Japan Tele Custom type. It has Bill Lawrence L280N and L290TL pickups, Stew Mac compensated bridge saddles. Think it is a 1995. Les Paul Special Jr.

A great collection there Earlag. It must be good to have a bunch of Tele's to choose from. I love the Cray Strat too- I like the hard tail bridges on them( I have a 1970's Strat that has a hardtail). And as for the Gibson- that is my favourite colour.

Thanks Steve, I like Teles a lot and got inspired for the Cray after playing a friends '56 hard tail Strat. Mine is just the std. one not the CS but a great guitar. I added the bridge pickup to the tone control and removed the neck and middle from the tone controls. Also switched the leads on the 5-way switch between the neck and middle to get the neck + bridge. It eliminated middle + bridge but rarely used that combination. I like the TV yellow like finish myself a lot and body is very Tele like at 1-3/4" thickness.
