Don't know where to post this. I've not been in here much the last couple of weeks. I've just sent everything off to my CD company... artwork, master CDs, etc. for two new gospel CDs, and a reorder of one of my folk CDs that is almost sold out. This being the small time, I should clarify. I sold out jut short of 250 CDs of my folk CD, Handful of Songs, and with a few bookings coming up, it was time to re-order. I have a brand new and an old gospel Cd coming out. The new CD is one I just finished recording, and is electric, and it moves. The other CD I'm releasing is an acoustic gospel CD, with my playing banjo on almost half of the songs. I recorded I more than twenty years ago. I'm the only one I know who can release a CD for the first time that's already an oldie. Now I have to get caught up on all the mundane things of life, like bills and household repairs I've neglected the last few weeks. What am I listening to these days? The sound of blood pumping through my arteries... I have been listening to Old Friends by Simon and Garfunkle. I'm going to be doing a video of one of my songs that I sing with my friend Joe Evans, who is 89. We're going to film it, sitting on a park bench... like bookends. This is the song... link

Jerry, I really enjoyed that offering. Your voice continues to resonate with an honest, beautiful tone and the backing vocals and the bass line adds great interest. Great job!!! Thanks for sharing and I wish you all the best with the new release.

Thanks, folks! If the weather co-operates, we're on to do the video on April 1. April Fool's Day sounds appropriate. :-)
