Charlie can play blues very well. He was a headliner at the Bean Blossom Blues Fest a couple years back. Put on a great show and he will sit and talk to you just like he was your neighbor. He is to harmonica like Chet Atkins is to guitar.

Such a smooth player with absolute precision. I remember buying his LP back in the early 70's and would spend hours listening to it over and over.

That's the recording that brought Charlie to public notice as I remember. It's a great recording and shows the precision that Charlie's playing is known for. Also has some pedal steel in it. It seems that pedal steel is no longer in fashion with country music.
