Just received 4 sets of pots & caps for a couple of my axes. Will give a complete report when installed.

I have an Epi LP standard, in which I did install an old set of caps from my 07 LP. (just to replace the stock Epi. caps) But now I'm going to install some nice RS CTS 500K audio tapers. I'll play around with the caps. I have some Russian PIO, and some RS. I usually install the RS 500K Super pots for tone and volume, but really don't want to waste them in a guitar that doesn't get used a lot. I'll check my records to see which others need to be replaced, while the soldier gun is still hot and all the tools are set up. And I'll try to remember to take pictures.

Any guitar that deserves to be played, deserves a good set of potentiometers and capacitors. I'm just sayin'...

OK, new pots 7 caps (russion K40y PIO 0.15 in neck & K40y PIO 0.33 in bridge) Went against the norm for the bridge, but I like the sound. It's easy to change down the road if, I what to. The 500k pots work great. Now I can dial in the Volume and Tones that I want to hear. The Pick-ups are S/D pearly gates. Played through my Fender Blues Jr. NOS. The neck gives a nice warm sound. The Bridge gives a little warmer Tone, but that might be the way I have the tone adjusted. Any way I enjoy the new sound.

Did you put in Stan's tone bypass circuit?

Wish you had recorded some clips before and after. I think it would be helpful to a lot of newcomers to hear the differences.
Congratulations on a successful operation! smiley-happy093
