In looking around for some of Elmore James work with SBWII, I ran across a rather obscure harp player - Bert Bilbro. He was mentioned on a compilation of harmonica players, including my old friend Deford Bailey, on "Harmonica Showcase". As far as I can find, this is the only recording he made.

He was white country harmonica player D H Bibro who recorded three sessions in 1928, 1929 & 1931 for OK and Victor, all harp solos, three of which unissued. Apart from that I know nothing.

Thanks Alan. Yes, I couldn't find much either. I didn't know abut the other sessions. I'll try to dig out the songs, or was it only the same song on different recordings?
