To be honest I'm not familiar with most of these recording since I seem to be stuck in a perpetual time warp. That said, the Wayne Shorter disc comes as no surprise since I've come across nothing but wide praise for the release. Haven't heard it. Although I should at least make an attempt to search out some online samples to see if it belongs in my collection.
