Bo Diddley was one of my favorites. I ordered several of his albums from Ernie's Record Mart in Gallatin Tn. when I was a teenager. Hooker

I don't know a lot of his stuff. He is an artiste that I know of rather than I have knowledge of- if that makes any sense ( I've had one or two beers you know).

Here's a scan of an BD advertisement in Jazz Journal May 1963. There were no blues magazines so blues product in the UK was generally in jazz mags or weekly "pop music" papers. I've just remember that in 1995 there was a 300 page Diddley biography written by George White. Attachments:

I had a friend who named a cat he had "Beau Diddly" and I think he said that he had no idea there was a real person with that name when he named the cat!
