What's your thoughts about the Cajon as a percussion instrument? I didn't like it much at first, but it's growing on me.

Ooh. Cajon!
Just had to have you check out this great two-minute snippet on YouTube from the 2013 NAMM where the inimitable Lee Oskar jams with a cajonist...
And as wonderful a harmonica player as Oskar is -- IMHO -- he actually gets upstaged by this teriffic young girl on cajon! cool

Wonderful clip. I like the cajon. In an acoustic environment it can give a great percussive accent to a song. A lot like the porch board concept.
