Well....this is a new one on me. Thanks for posting. His style kind of reminds me of Don Ross just a tad. That is a great sounding guitar....mixed very well.
I'll be finding more stuff by him to listen to.

That gathering was in Williamsburg, VA. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it. The 2013 gathering was about 65 miles south of us but both Sue & I had surgery and couldn't make it. This year's gathering will be in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, On October 3rd thru the 5th. www.harpguitars.net/hgg/hgg.htmMaybe we'll make it in 2015! |

When I was playing acoustic guitar, I always admired the technical tune "Western" by Alex DeGrassi. I tried playing this for years after I heard Alex play it in the 80's. I stumbled across many covers of this song, and none were "great", but some were very commendable. But this young man blew me away. Here is Fred Baty 9 years ago playing a cover of "Western" by Alex DeGrassi;
