Have any of you ever used a slide harp? A slide harp looks like a chromatic, but is different in the fact that it is richter tuned like a regular 10 hole diatonic instead of being solo tuned like a chromatic. The slide harp allows you to play just like you would with a regular 10 hole diatonic, but you have that button to push for those notes that aren't easily available. Little Walter used a Koch slide harp on a couple of songs according to Steve Geiger(sp). I've owned a few slide harps, a Koch, a Kratt Super 12, Hering Vintage 40, the only one I have left is a Gretsch slide harp. A blues player could get good use from a slide harp. In the type of music I play, I don't have a lot of use for one, but I liked messing with them.
