I realize there are a few of us here who get great enjoyment from this jazz label from the Netherlands. I especially enjoy there recordings from the 80's and 90's. Less so from more recent times although with some exceptions. To me, there earlier recordings mirror the sound of the classic Blue Note era and if you enjoyed that time period, you probably enjoy this label. What are your favorite artists/recordings from this jazz label? To get the ball rolling, some of my favorite artists:
Eric Alexander John Swana Jim Rotondi Walt Weiskopf Kenny Barron Peter Berstein Steve Davis Brian Lynch Melvin Rhyne
I'll attempt to list specific recordings later. Let's get this thread moving!

Here's two: (artists and CD's I like). No doubt I'll think of more
Here's another:
I tend to agree with you Tom, that my favorite Criss Cross CD's are the earlier ones, (but I really haven't heard too many of the more recent releases say in the past 5- 10 years or so).

Obscure but fine alto player (probably more people know him as a one-time line man for the New York Jets). Fusco played for several years with the Buddy Rich Big Band and can be seen on several videos/DVD's with the band. A very large man.
I like this one, too.

How can I forget about Ralph La Lama? Let also add Mike LeDonne to that list.
