I just got my Feadog penny whistle today and am waiting for a Kung Fu flute:
We find them to be VERY relaxing during these times that we're both having medical issues.

The Feadog arrived yesterday and I'm already halfway to learning "My Heart Will Go On". Can't practice much because Sue is in a LOT of pain. Both the Feadog Whistle and the Fiddle are too loud for her to take right now, so I'll have to to set some time aside when she feels better. Can't wait for the flute to arrive.

To maintain my sanity these past few days that Sue has been in the hospital, I've been practicing the Penny whistle and the Chinese bamboo flute. Here's the Penny whistle song I'm trying: (no...not me playing!)

I apologize for my absence lately, but my wife is very ill. I purchased a Seventh Century (copy) bamboo flute with a pentatonic scale and it's been a very relaxing experiment for the both of us. It's the Kung Fu model from eriktheflutemaker.com I added the Kanji Character "Kaze" "The Wind" in this shot. And here's an overall view:
