IMO, two are by Eric Clapton: 461 Ocean Boulevard and Slowhand. I wish I'd attended the concerts released therein-superior to some other Clapton circa the early 70s.

I'm wasn't sure at first that I would have put this in Rock and Roll, but when you look carefully at 461 Ocean Boulevard, the period in Eric's life (after heroin addiction) and his selection of songs - particularly a cover of Marley's "I Shot The Sheriff", I understand where you are coming from. Truly a legacy album! I'll have to give this one some thought. Several come to mind, but I'll hold off a bit.
