Sounds very much likes a Beatles track- which is fine by me though Paul's voice is obviously showing his age.

When it comes to art and music, I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but the music of Ms. Ono is something I've yet to aquire the taste for.

Musical talent aside, Ringo is probably the only Beatle I think I'd enjoy sitting down and having a couple of beers with.

I'll probably get his new album out of loyalty. I sometimes wish he'd retire as his voice does seem to have gone ( and in my opinion he had one of the greatest voices in Rock music) but good luck to him. I jst wish John and George were still around. Incidentally, speaking of George, I saw a new biography of him in a book shop the other day. I was in too much of a hurry to look at it though. Also, there is the first part of a new Beatles book coming out shortly- supposedly the most deeply researched book about the Beatles than has ever existed which debunks many of the false stories that have circulated for years. trhe first part is 900 ppages long and takes us to the release of Love Me Do. Written by Mark Lewisohn ( or however he spells his name).

I really liked all the early Beatles music, but later stuff just didn't appeal to me.

I was so happy I could finally complete my Beatles collection when they came out on iTunes. I know some are down on the format and I understand why, but my audiophile days are long behind me.
Anyway, I love finally having all that stuff. I don't think there's a dud in there.
BTW, this is pretty cool, when you consider how The Beatles did it and that these guys did it live.

Cool, the Fab Faux.....thought I recognized some of those guys from somewhere. smiley-music021 I mainly listen to the pre-67 Beatles collection or Rubber Soul and Revolver. Like some here there of the later also. I never bought any of their vinyl LPs though until later Abbey Road because many friends had them right away.

Being from this area, I wasn't supposed to like theBeatles - you know, the Elvis vs Beatles thing. But the truth is, I did like their music.
I am a big fan of the late George Harrison, especially.
Do you have a favorite of the fab 4?
