Here, the new vintage reissue series is supposed to be closer to the real deal, pups, color of body, well a guy i know just received his new 52 RI and check this - a ' tHREE PIECE BACK ! wtf ! we're talking a street price of 2k, what are the powers( Fender) of be thinking ?

Thanks James, he's just a guy on a tele site that I know of - the funny thing is, he posted pics of the guitar & was*happy as punch* with it - go figure.

Oh, he just bought from another guy over the internet? Well, that is one of the drawbacks of that kind of transaction. The guy that sold it might not even have noticed that it was a 3-piece body, or not have cared. Not everyone is as picky as some of us are.
