The harmonica is always associated with blues music-it's called the blues harp after all. But is there much jazz (or other music) played on it?

I like that Bill Evans piece. Not so struck on the second piece but I'm not a big fan of modern jazz. Still cool tho

All sorts of music is played on the harmonica and has been associated with country music and certainly old hillbilly/old time music. It has been called the poor man's fiddle for a reason.

Now, of course Charlie McCoy isn't a "poor man" and he don't fiddle around, but Sarge is absolutely correct. From Deford Bailey and Wayne Rainey to Johnny Cash! But Wayne Rainey uses the Harp as a "fiddle" and a great country harp
