Some think he's God-like, others like me don't like him.....
I'm talking about Jeff Beck.....I think he stinks and I'm being nice.....

Clapton has had & still has a few really great licks....From the Cradle & Beano, which is stolen from Freddy K. Those two albums & Deric & the Dominos is really one of the best examples I can give......He started coming around again for Journeyman but his fluffy stuff stinks IMHO
A LOT of his stuff I don't care for....I like mostly his blues style stuff & some of his acoustic....
Jimmy Page, who I liked the least has got some pretty good moves....Funny, I liked him the least and now I like him as much as Clapton.....
Beck I thought was king until that song I post & saw it was really Jennifer Batton doing the hook riff....I went back & listened to Truth & thought the band is covering for him....What is he doing that's special in this album???Nothing...just like the vid I post...really look at it...he does almost nothing..

I never got all the hoopla about Beck. I have listened to some of his music which may not be a fair representation, but he never really moved me. I know that may be heresy to some, but one persons opinion. YMMV.

Definitely a polarizing figure, many strong opinions + and -.
I really liked Blow By Blow (cited above), but found the rest of Beck's work very uneven (including some I disliked), and eventually stopped keeping track of him.
