Anyone know of this guy?
For Anyone Who Has Always Wanted to Play Piano:
You can learn to have a ball playing piano in a lot less time than you think ASSUMING that your goal is not to play Bach or Beethoven, but instead to play popular songs you've enjoyed your entire life ...
1st - Don't ever try to read sheet music, or at least traditional piano sheet music. Learn to use what pros like studio session players use. Not only will you sound a lot better, but it takes about 90% of the difficulty of reading standard sheet music and throws it right out the window. Great, huh?
2nd - Learn to use chords. Like any guitar player knows - once you've learned a few standard chords you'll be able to jam along to hundreds of popular tunes. Talk about bang for your buck!
3rd - DO NOT use the rules and techniques of traditional classical piano to guide you in playing all other non-classical styles. Playing robotically with a metronome, and spending grueling hours working on things like note-reading and fingering exercises are NOT helpful when you are just getting started to play in non-classical piano styles. What IS important is that you learn and work on one of your favorite tunes FIRST. Wasting time learning some silly kiddy tune will not give you the motivation you need to stay on track. I mean, who wants to play "The Wigwam Song" for their friends right? Ha!
Hey, Scott Houston here. You may recognize me as "The Piano Guy" from my TV series and my Play Piano In A Flash specials that have aired for years on public television here in the States.
I know the thought of learning to play the piano fairly quickly probably sounds like a real stretch, but guess what: I've been teaching people do just that for over 20 years now. And it works!
I don't need a "magic wand"... Learning to play in the styles I teach is just not that complex. Assuming you have fingers, you have what it takes ... No "special musical gifts" are required.
Although it obviously takes some effort on the part of my students. Those who take action and follow through get real results. It's that straightforward.
If you are like so many folks who are not trying to become a concert pianist, but instead just want to play FOR YOUR OWN ENJOYMENT, then you owe it to yourself to let me teach you a few basics and see if maybe the way I teach makes sense for you too.
Click “Learn More” and claim your FREE spot on the workshop where I will go over the basics of how you can FINALLY get started having fun playing piano.
By the end of the workshop you'll know the 3 main steps you can use to play ANY non-classical tunes on a piano. Plus I'll give away a few juicy "tips and tricks" you can use to really get started in a hurry.
If you're willing and able to put in just a little fun effort, I want to show you how 2017 is going to be the year you start to legitimately call yourself a piano player.
I sure hope to see you on the attendee list for this workshop.
To your piano success...
Scott
