Thank you James,
Well, once I get my moms I pad, i can place it on the music stand of my digital piano too watch piano tutorial videos, on YouTube. Instead of trying to turn my head an look at my mac.
I sometimes wish I had been taught these songs when I was younger, instead of the classical method. Which I detest. Not that there is anything wrong with classical music, I just find it too complicated and too many rules too follow. I feel like a beginner, in the advanced class, and being lost.

I've been playing piano for... decades, and I still struggle with it. I think we all have the tendency to want to play the whole frakking song!!! Why can't I play the whole song already??? But what we need to do is learn it a section at a time. Take a few bars, a phrase, and play it slowly and badly for a while. Gradually but slowly speed it up. Stop speeding up if you can't do it. Slow back down a notch. Stay at that tempo until you get it. Speed up a little again. When you get where you can do that part at least reasonably well, move on to the next one and repeat. Combine it with the first and play it through. Are you struggling with the transition from the first part to the second? Work on that. Etc. Don't be reluctant to take lots of breaks. If you feel like spending lots of time, that's fine. But if you want or need to stop and do something else, go ahead. I find that if I give myself some time away from the piece, I often come back and it has improved.

So, I made bold move to try and learn too play Linus and Lucy by Vince Guraldi. Needless to say, this is more challenging than I thought? Mainly since he wrote it using the black keys predominantly. Also, I have never played Jazz before. The Biggest challenge is not only getting the chords right, but trying to get both hands to play together. Which is a constant struggle and challenge. Usually, I play chords in the left hand and the melody with the right. Also, I was more used to using the Casio Chord system, where it plays the accompaniment for me, and I just play the melody. My brain has not been trained to play two different parts together. So, it’s very hard for me. I do practice a little bit everyday. I will never be an accomplished musician, but I am doing this, just for fun. Besides, playing an instrument is good for brain power as well.

I don't play, but when I tried & will again, I started with Bonnie Raitt's "Guilty"......good tune.... I did get the hang of it...... I think it is good for a beginner like me....

Hands separate, then bring them together. Also, break it into small sections and repeat until you get that section right consistently. Just remember if you're not driving other people crazy with your practicing, you're not doing it right!

Two things I should mention. One, both halves of my brain don’t talk to each other. Two, i had a player piano growing up, so i never saw the point in learning too play, and my brain became accustomed too that way of playing. Just pump the pedals and instant music.

Looks like I will have to start all over again, from the beginning and do scales and chords.
