That's an interesting article. I met Jimi Hendrix's Father, Al, back in the late 1980's and according to him, Jimi literally had a tractor Trailer full of equipment. Many Guitars, Amps, Pedals and various other instruments went missing in the first few days after Jimi's death. Al Hendrix himself, claimed to only have one of his son's guitars in his possession at that time.
It would seem there's a lot of Hendrix related equipment out there, but I would guess that it would be almost Impossible to authenticate 99% of it. At this late date, you'd certainly need a LOT of proof for me to fork over a pile of money for a "Jimi Hendrix" guitar.
