I have been an Apple user for quite some time, and have always used SAFARI as my web browser. Then I found out that YouTube, no longer supports it. So last night, I decided to switch over to Chrome by Google. Which is much faster then Safari. Plus, I was able to sync up all of my devices, even my ten year old iMac desktop. Having Chrome makes YouTube, more accessible, then ever before. Also, since I use Google Gmail , i figured may as well go all the way. I know there are some people who will bash Google, also, there are people who have a dislike for apple. The one common theme, is that we can choose which products to use.

Yes, I'm a Chrome user as well Paul. Does take up a lot of space and continual updates it seems. But great Cloud support. If you have a lot of photos, use Google Photos to store your images.

Funny you should mention Google Photos. I downloaded the app.

I use Safari nearly 100% of the time and have had no problems with it nor YouTube in it. What do you mean, "YouTube no longer supports it"?
I don't like using Google products because they don't give a shit about my privacy (which is why Apple stopped using Google Maps on iOS as the default map application).

It has noting to do with playback of videos, so much as trying to upload and edit videos, as well as using the desktop mode from my iPad. YouTube video coding has changed as well. Along with some editing and enhancement features no longer works.
Don’t forget, Google Owns YouTube, so they can do what they want now. Since I have a Google account, which you have to have in order too have an account on YouTube, and I have Gmail as well. So I have to use Google.
Also my ISP is Xfinity, which is owned by Comcast, and they have a Monopoly on Internet and Cable in all of Maryland, except for Western Maryland. Which Frederick County is not part of.
